**Alice In Wonderland Shinzi Katoh cup and saucer
available at Three Potato Four**
So I am in the process of writing my movie review for the blog that me and the Mr. are going to be setting up. The one I mentioned in my post here. It is a lot harder then I thought. I am no movie critic and everything I tried to come up with sounded silly or phony or made no sense. What I can say about the movie was that it was really good and funny and well written. Other than that I'm stuck.
Besides playing film critic I have been diligently working on new items for the Strange Folk Festival in September. I swear I may have arthritis soon from all the tiny embroidery work I have been doing. I am making some felt and fabric badges with hand drawn embroidered designs. Time consuming doesn't even begin to explain it. Luckily thought it is also very fun and I like coming up with new designs. I swear that I will start taking photos of my things to share-both on the blog and in my Etsy shop. We have a new (read: expensive) camera but I have no idea how to take good pictures with it. I really need to sit down and mess around with it but I haven't had time. With the (not so) little one off to visit his grandmother and mother for the next few weeks, it should give me an opportunity to fiddle with it and at least take descent pictures. Besides not being a movie critic, I am also not a photographer.
Lastly, but not leastly, I am in the mood for all things Japanese and cute. I am having a difficult time deciding which of these Shinzi Katoh bags to buy. In a perfect world I would buy one of each. Going to that site is dangerous business as I want to own every thing on there. Kitty Craft also carries some really nice things including fabric and trim but one of my favorite things is this super cute Elephant and Apples Balance Game. Even the bag it comes in is cute! Aranzi Aronzo has these stackable mugs with bunnies and pandas ect. and I think they would look so sweet on a little display shelf in the kitchen. For more Japanese goodness check out Momiji where you can find all sorts of odds and ends including little dolls, tea towels and pocket mirrors.
Now off you go to buy some pretties....
